Gale provides complimentary delivery of eDirectory MARC records in .MRC format via this self-service Web page. This service automatically adds the library location information and, if needed, institution name into the MARC 856 field link.MARC records are provided as a free service to Gale customers. The only customization we provide is for the 856 field. Our cataloguers provide the most complete records possible, but many libraries and library automation systems have unique requirements and further localization may be warranted. Gale customers are granted authority to further customize and enhance Gale MARC records at the local system level without Gale permission.
