Gale Search Assistance/Content Support

Search Assistance/Content Support is a group of librarians, all experienced MLS-degreed staff, who are responsible for answering point-of-use questions from clients who need assistance using our products. 

• Recommend which Gale Group product will best meet their needs, e.g., advise on database selection and provide specific product recommendations to answer reference questions of all types

• Consult on and recommend detailed search strategies to provide precise answers to reference questions

• Offer tips on maximizing use of Gale Group databases

• Answer questions on Gale Group content and editorial issues

• Telephonic training on Gale Group products

• Provide peer-to-peer perspective

• Increase customer’s depth of knowledge of Gale Group products
