Introducing Thomson Gale PowerSearch, from Thomson Gale™, a part of The Thomson Corporation. With Thomson Gale PowerSearch’s cross-search capabilities, users can now access the rich depth and scope of all the Thomson Gale content in your library’s collection by exploring one, several or all available databases simultaneously — while managing results effectively.

Here are some advantages to using PowerSearch:

• Ability to search and/or limit by publication format, target audience and document type gives librarians and users the ability to quickly access and identify sources of information specific to homework assignment and course assignment requirements.

• Advanced search limiting options are universally applied (rather than selected per database) and apply directly to all content selected from multiple databases
• Using PowerSearch does not eliminate access to specific databases, specific search paths, indexes, limiters, sorters, etc.
• Users can start out searching multiple databases, and then "dive deep" into very specific content sets.
• Libraries do not have to use PowerSearch, they can still access their Gale databases exactly as they do now.
