Welcome to the Montana / Gale FAQ site. Here you will find detailed information on the databases available for you. To get started, you can view this short presentation which will show you how to conduct a search in our PowerSearch interface.

Enter your name on the first screen and click on the VIEW RECORDING button
Then enter your e-mail and institution name and click on the VIEW RECORDING button

Database Access
We have selected and grouped together databases for each type of Montana library: Public Libraries, Academic Libraries, Special Libraries and Schools. To access the databases, first choose from the appropriate tab above. You can learn more about a particular database and access the databases by clicking on the database icons in each menu. You will then be prompted for your library's Gale username and password. Please use the username and password provided for your library by the Montana State Library. Contact your local librarian if you have questions.
