Configuring Firewalls & Proxies to Work with Thomson Gale Databases

Firewalls and Proxy servers sit between the end user and the Thomson Gale users. There are a number of configurations that will need to be done to ensure that your users will have seamless access to your Gale subscriptions. Please read the following and adjust your firewall and proxy where necessary.

Why have exclusion lists

Changes to your firewall or proxy server are all not requirements to access Thomson Gale databases; they will however improve performance and reliability to ensure that your users experience a smooth and eventless time while using Thomson Gale Databases.
