Search Assistance/Content Support is a group of MLS-degreed librarians who are responsible for answering questions from clients who would like assistance using Gale Group products.
 
  • Recommend which Gale Group product will best meet their needs, e.g., advise on database selection and provide specific product recommendations to answer reference questions of all types.
  • Consult on and recommend detailed search strategies to provide precise answers to reference questions.
  • Offer tips on maximizing use of Gale Group databases.
  • Answer questions on Gale Group content and editorial issues.
  • Telephonic training on Gale Group products.
  • Provide peer-to-peer perspective.
  • Increase customer’s depth of knowledge of Gale Group products.
